IBEL would like to extend heartiest congratulations to our Board Member and Vice-Chairperson, the Hon Mr Justice Mohan T. Bharwaney, who was awarded the prestigious Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) on 1st October 2020 by Chief Executive, Ms Carrie Lam, in recognition of his meritorious and dedicated service to the Judiciary and Hong Kong Community.

Mr Justice Bharwaney is a judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court and has served in the Judiciary over 10 years. He has revolutionized the way that personal injuries litigation is conducted, making the handling of these proceedings by the Courts more effective and efficient. Timely settlements are now made through mediation or other means.

We are very happy for Mr Justice Bharwaney and the honour and recognition that have been bestowed upon him.
