
Gayatri Pathak Bery has a wide range of strategic, risk management and financial experience through her roles in investment banking, capital markets, investment management, non-profit and board directorships. Most recently she has served as a nominee board director for the International Finance Corporation on two boards – a public universal bank in the Philippines and a private small loan bank in China. Prior to this, she worked at an NGO that was focused on Asian research on social issues. As a natural follow on, she has been serving as a Board Trustee of the American Chamber of Commerce (HK) Charitable Foundation. Her prior finance experience was with Morgan Stanley in New York as well as in Hong Kong. Gayatri holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School (Beta Gamma Sigma). On the board governance front, she has completed the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma and has been certified as a Qualified Risk Director® by the U.S. DCRO Institute. Gayatri is married to Varun Bery, and they share three children who reside in the US.
